Some Of The Greatest Names In Reggae Fusion

In 1960s reggae music was born. It is one of the many genres that exist in the current world and which has tried to maintain its beats and tempo without much alternation. It was first brought about by artists such as Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. Over the years, various artists made a point to make sure this genre caught on. Many artists have come up from all over the world to engage in the genre and singing. Most of them are very good at reggae fusion.

Takana Zion is a person whose career started when he was still very young and looked very composed. He opened up his on a recording studio in 2012 to support African reggae in his country of origin which is the guinea. When he first started out, his music condemned the inequality of people in not only his country but also in other countries worldwide.

The next artist is a woman and is of a Swahili origin. Her name is Etana. It translates to the strong one which actually pairs greatly with her character. She uses jazz, soul, RnB, popular music, and folk. She returned to Jamaica in the effort to create a sound that put across Rastafarian principles and respect for women in general. She uses all these genres to spread positive messages.

Tarrus Riley, it is very unlikely to encounter a person who is not familiar with the name. He was born in 1979 in the Bronx. He is the son of Jimmy Riley who was a prominent reggae icon. Tarrus started his career in his teenage years. He released an album known as challenges in 2004 which opened his act to the major scene.

The famous chronicles are the father of the now famous chronic. His actual name is Jamar Ronaldo Mcnaughton. He was born in the year 1992. He started his singing career while he was still in his teenage years. After a while, he was called to record tracks for other popular artists such as Konshens and even Munga honorable.

In popular music fusion, there are also bands. One of them goes by the name of roots underground. They are made up of six band members. They maintain the sound of the 1970s reggae and the same Rastafarian message. After the release of their album, movement in 2008 and gravity in 2010 they gained a lot of popularity and had toured 22 countries globally.

In Spanish town Jamaica, there emerged an artist by the name Stylo G. He won the MOBO awards in 2014. At the tender age of 15, he together with his family moved to the UK. He joined the underground scene there, and his career began. He stuck to popular music but also followed the bit of dance hall. His father was a famous dancehall artist back in Jamaica.

Another artist is Jah9. She was born to a Baptist preacher. She moved to Kingston Jamaica while still very young. She participated in the choir up until she went off to university. She got to make Rastafarian friends, and that is how she got routed to the culture of reggae.
