They were no longer slaves, but whatever the white has enjoyed become also what they enjoy. Receiving the right just like other people has, and also giving the freedom they have ever desired, and not becoming a slave of anyone anymore, and you can see it today.
Because of the battle, there was a change in the political as well as to the economy of every place. This forced the people to form two groups that gave a chance in making sure of what could be the future. Not just with the economic breakdown but also when it comes to letting the militaries and another political leader to join any political activities.
They had undergone the Reconstruction Era which caused them so many violence. This was the time when they are undergoing many other adjustments that had been made by the war that happened. But because some of those people did not agree with what had happened. They were able to make some riots that caused some to felt some violence. This also was the start of such groups that were racists and discriminated the black ones.
Because of this war, many lives were taken and bloodshed so that they can survive. In the end, the casualties reached the number of eight hundred thousand plus. But this was not yet the final number, many others were added including those that were found on the other borders and also those who died during the different riots that had happened.
That war was really put a great significance of the lives of these people. This affected the present not just with negativity but also with great prosperity. Without these, there could be many things that might not also be in the present. Like the freedom that the blacks, and also the new industries that were made.
